Meet Your Instructors

As Michiana's only certified instructors, we are confident we can help you raise the level of your game and your pickleball rating. While our primary focus is on experienced beginners through 4.5 level players, it is not only on tournament players. We understand everyone wants to get better, so they can sustain longer rallies, get invited to more playing opportunities, and simply have more fun.

Don Happ

Don is a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach and is sponsored by TMPR Sports. Don has a number of years experience coaching both Senior League and high school baseball, as well as several years teaching tennis. 5.0 was his highest attained USTA tennis rating having played competitive USTA Team Tennis for nearly 40 years. Don currently carries a 4.25 Doubles DUPR pickleball rating, as well as a 4.21 Singles DUPR pickleball rating.

Todd Hill

Todd is a Business Strategy Advisor within Notre Dame's Athletic Department. He also spent 12 years as an Adjunct Professor within Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. He leverages and applies the skills he learned teaching in the classroom to the pickleball court. Todd is a PPR Certified Coach and is sponsored by TMPR Sports. He currently carries a 4.61 DUPR rating. Todd also serves as an instructor at major pickleball camps when he is in Florida.
